Congratulations to the following students who have been selected by their team teachers for demonstrating the national Character Counts trait “CARING”:
A.T.T.I.T.U.D.E – Natalie Hartel – Natalie is kind and compassionate to all those around her. She is always willing to help someone in need and shows she cares everyday with a smile for everyone!
Team Fusion – A caring student is one who goes above and beyond to do something nice for others. Team Fusion is happy to honor Breanna Madrigal as a caring student. She goes out of her way to be friendly and to do for others. She is a young lady who is aware of what needs to be done. She thinks ahead and moves things for students without being asked, helps clean up when books or supplies need to be put away, and always has a kind word and a smile to share. Congratulations, Breanna!
Trailblazers – Guadalupe Joven – Guadalupe is a sweet and caring young lady. She is always respectful and cares enough to ask how her teachers are doing. In addition, Guadalupe is a student service in the attendance office where her sweet and helpful attitude is noticed and appreciated by many. She demonstrates this same caring attitude with her fellow classmates. Thank you, Guadalupe!
Team Excellence – Our first Student of the Month is Victor Mozqueda. Victor is a very sweet boy. He is pleasant to everyone and helps others in need. For example, if a student doesn’t have a pencil, he will give one of his. He is a delight to have in class! Our second Student of the Month is Taylor Velazquez. Taylor is kind and caring at all times. She cares about her school work, about the students around her and about the world at large. She is a delightful, sunny addition to any classroom or other setting she finds herself in and people always respond positively to her. Congratulations to Victor and Taylor!
Pacesetters – Camilha Contreras – Camilha has shown herself to be quietly capable. Students around her recognize that and ask for her help. She just as quietly helps others. For example, Mrs. Schnittgrund received a new student in class. She sat the student near Camilha, knowing that Camilha would help her without being a distraction to the rest of the class. All of her teachers appreciate how kind and considerate she is. Camilha is the greatest!
Congratulations to all of our Students of the Month! You will be invited to a brunch in your honor this Friday, February 5th. Thank you for making Placerita a place where Character Counts!
