The Lost and Found in the attendance office is overflowing. Please, please, please check the new cabinet in the attendance office before you leave for winter break. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity on Thursday December 17th.
8th Grade – Student Service Announcement
8th graders, do you want to be student service during 2nd semester? Get a form from Mrs. Reid in the Attendance office today. All forms are due no later than Wednesday.
School Returns January 11th
Students – When you return to school on January 11th, after Winter Break, you will report to your schedule pick up room at 8:10 am to pick up your new class schedule. This is the same room you reported to the first day of school. If you do not remember what room to report to, check the office window for the room number.
Winter Dance
Students, do you want to attend the dance of the year? The Winter Dance is near, so bring your money to the office to buy a ticket for only $5. Ticket prices go up on Thursday, 12/10 to $6. On 12/17 the ticket price will be $7 and $8 at the door.
This dance will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5-7 p.m. Snack Bar, holiday boutique and the Game Truck will be there. The Game Truck is included in the price of your ticket. Bring extra money to purchase items at the snack bar and boutique. Don’t miss out on the fun. See Mrs. Tait for more info.
7th Grade Students – ASB Applications
Are you interested in learning what ASB is all about? If you missed the meeting yesterday, you can pick up a packet from Mrs. Tait or in the front office.
Applications and essays are due Monday, Dec. 7 by 3:00 p.m. See Mrs. Tait for more info. You must be on the elective wheel to be eligible.
7th Grade ASB Dates:

- Essay: What are your qualifications for ASB and why are you an outstanding candidate?
- December 11, 2009 – Teacher Evals. Due
- December 10, 2009 – Interviews begin
- December 16, 2009 – Notifications will be given out

7th Grade Ballroom Dance Team Try Outs
We are looking for girls and boys to try out for the award winning ballroom dance team. Try outs are Monday, December 7th from 2:45 to 4:15 in Tanner Hall. Those students who make the team will have practice after school on Mondays and Wednesdays after winter break. We will compete as a team at the Annual High Desert Dance Classic competition in March 2010 at the Antelope Valley College. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sucheck or Mrs. Burrill.
