California ShakeOut Moved to October 29th

Due to the recent rainy weather the ShakeOut drill will be moved from October 15th and be held on October 29th.

Carn-Evil Dance Thursday, October 29

Dance tickets are on sale now in the office for the Carn-Evil Dance to be held on Thursday, October 29 from 2:45-4:15 p.m.
Tickets are $5 this week and will go up to $6 the week of the 19th.
Tickets are $7 the week of 10/26-10/29.

Get your ticket before the price goes up.

Dance Fundraiser Tuesday, October 13th

Bring this flier to Jersey Mike’s Subs in Saugus on October 13th. Enjoy a delicious sub, wrap or salad and Jersey Mike’s will donate 15% of the sales to our Dance Department!

Make-up Picture Day – October 19th

Students that were not present, or did not get their picture taken on our first picture day, will have an opportunity on Monday, October 19th to get their school picture taken.

The Great California ShakeOut – 2009

Placerita Junior High School will be participating in the California ShakeOut. The entire Wm. S. Hart School District, as well as most of the state’s school districts, will participate in this earthquake drill. Please read the following scenario and feel free visit the site www.shakeout.org.

At 10:15 a.m. on October 15, 2009, millions of Californians will participate in the largest earthquake drill ever!

The purpose of the ShakeOut is to practice how to protect ourselves during earthquakes, and to get prepared at work, school, and home.

Cookie Dough…. Mark Your Calendars

If you sold Cookie Dough, there will be one day for PICK UP on Tuesday, October 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Tanner Hall. Parents can pick up the orders for their child prior to the ending of school that day. Students, please make arrangements to have transportation home, if you normally walk. They will be distributed/separated by Student’s name.
