We are extending the Drive for one more week. The Bonus Turn in Day will be next Thursday, Sept. 9.
- If a student sells 4 more items, ASB will treat them to an In n Out party.
- Those orders will add to their cumulative prizes.
- More order forms can be found in the office or in P-22.
- Prize Day will be held September 21 @ lunch. Students can claim their prizes on that day.
- Beach Trip has been set for Friday, Oct. 8. Winning team will be announced a few days after the Bonus Day turn in on Thursday, Sept. 9.
Back to School Night

PELL MEETING (5:30-6:30)
Parents of English Language Learners are encouraged to attend a meeting in Tanner Hall at 5:30.
“MY CHILD TOOK IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL” awards (6:30-6:50)
Parents of students who received an exclusive invitation to the “Taking It to the Next Level” awards celebration are invited to join us in the quad at 6:30.

Magazine Drive Announcement
Hello Miners, Duck Days are coming.. Don’t forget to turn in your coupons at brunch and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday. Remember, for every coupon you turn in, you get a duck. Save your ducks for a chance to win some bonus prizes.
Thursday, September 2 is our TURN IN Day. Keep on selling those magazines and cookie dough. If you need more order forms, go to the office.

Welcome! We’re happy that you and your child will be attending Placerita Junior High School this Fall. On August 5 and August 6, we will be having our annual summer check-in for both grades. We would like to have your child present at his/her designated time in order to accomplish the following tasks prior to the start of school:
- School ID picture taken and distributed
- Textbooks checked out
- Registration packet distributed
- Registration teacher and classroom for “Day 1” assigned
In order to avoid long lines and a long wait, please have your child report to Tanner Hall at the specific time indicated on the schedule below.

8th graders will be checking out of their P.E. lockers on Thursday.
7th graders will be on Friday.
Please remember to bring in a bag to take your belongings home. 8th grade students will be allowed to donate their clothes and lock. See your P.E. teacher for more info.
